    Greetings and welcome to Tau Pi Omega’s membership section!  We welcome all members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® to reactivate, transfer, or visit with our chapter.  Our chapter meetings, with the exception of our annual closed business meeting held in November, are open to initiated members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®.

     

    Tau Pi Omega’s chapter meetings are held on the second Saturday of each month, excluding the months of July and August, and begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. Chapter meetings are held at the Colonnade Room which is located at 8010 Rockbridge Road, Lithonia, Georgia 30058.

     

    Reactivating or Transferring?

     

    Are you currently an inactive member and would like to reactivate?  Are you currently a member in search of a new chapter in which to affiliate?  Tau Pi Omega welcomes you!

     

    The requirements for members who want to visit and/or reactivate are as follows:

    • Bring a recent financial card and picture ID; or
    • An Ivy Leaf magazine with address label attached and a picture ID; or
    • Bring your transfer verification form from your last chapter affiliation with the proper signatures and picture ID.

     

    The requirements for members who want to transfer their chapter affiliation are as follows:

    • Bring a recent financial card and picture ID; or
    • An Ivy Leaf magazine with address label attached and a picture ID; or
    • Bring your transfer verification form from your last chapter affiliation with the proper signatures and picture ID.

     

    Also, contact our Membership Chairman for specific transfer details.  Please be mindful that business attire is required for all chapter meetings. 

     

    Becoming a Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®

     

    Membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated® at the graduate level is by invitation only through one of the local graduate chapters and may not be solicited.  Women seeking membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® should visit www.aka1908.com for more information.
