    Service to All Mankind begins here… with the Stone Mountain/Lithonia Graduate Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. We are excited about our 2014-2018 International Program, Launching New Dimensions of ServiceSMOur chapter will join hundreds of other Alpha Kappa Alpha chapters across the United States and internationally with the implementation of the five targets of our International Program.

     

    Target I Educational Enrichment

    Members will engage in the sorority’s signature youth enrichment program ASCENDSM, along with One Million BackpacksSM  and Think HBCUSM 

     

    Target II Health Promotion

    Alpha Kappa Alpha will promote health awareness in three areas: Alzheimer’s Disease and Caregiver Support, Stroke and Heart Disease, Mental Health.

     

    Target III Family Strengthening

    Members will address Childhood Hunger, Family Seasonal Wraps, and Fiscal Responsibility.

     

    Target IV Environmental Ownership

    Members will implement AKA 1908 Playground ProjectSM , Restore, Refresh and Renew ProjectSM and Acts of Green ProgramSM  

     

    Target V Global Impact

    Members will implement the UNA-USA Global Classrooms Project and renew its Africare partnership.

    Tau Pi Omega Chapter will continue its 22-year tradition of providing supreme service to the Stone Mountain/Lithonia community and beyond by “Launching New Dimensions of Service”.  We welcome all members of Alpha Kappa Alpha to join us.
